The Genso Suikoden Card Stories Special Selection (幻想水滸伝 Card Stories Special Selection, Gensōsuikoden Card Stories Special Selection) was a limited release of 216 cards from the Genso Suikoden Card Stories TCG featuring the artwork of series artists Kawano Junko and Ishikawa Fumi.
Only 500 sets were released for sale to the public, with a limit of 3 per person. They were shipped in late March, 2026.
Information
The Special Selection came with a unique binder and 24 card sheets, each capable of displaying 9 cards, allowing owners to display the full set in the binder. It also came with four metal pins each representing a game in the Suikoden series covered by the TCG; the Soul Eater, the Rune of Beginning, the True Fire Rune, and the Rune of Punishment.
The set contains only character and special illustration cards and so can not be used on their own to actually play the Card Stories TCG. However, as its backs are the same as all previously printed cards, they are technically legal for play. The main difference is the update of the copyright in the bottom right corner on the front of each card, which now reads '©Konami Digital Entertainment' on all cards.
Four of the cards were Radiance Star Parallel holocards, while an addition 12 were Star Parallel holocards.
